Information regarding Registration and Fees for 2020.

24 Jun 2020 by Gabi Fisher

Dear Registered Parents,

As we have previously communicated, we hope the season will start on Sunday July 12th (dependent upon Government restrictions). The MPJFL and your committee has been working tirelessly to try to facilitate a safe return to football in 2020 as soon as possible.

To assist us to facilitate this we need to finalise our teams for 2020 immediately. As such, we need to know any players that are currently registered but do not intend to play in 2020.

Please reply to this via email immediately, stating that your child will not be playing in 2020 so we can finalise team numbers.

As this email is being sent to the parents of registered players only, if you are aware of any parents who have not registered their child please advise them to either register immediately or contact the club registrar (as per below) immediately……..the window for 2020 registrations will close this Friday, the 26th June.

If your child is playing and you have not currently paid any fees, we need the following “reduced” fees paid before Friday 10th July PRIOR to the “proposed” Round 1 (July 12th). If your fees are not paid by this date, or prior arrangements have not been made with the club (as per below) your child will not be permitted to play.

1. Single player registration = $150

2. Family registration = $280

The Committee have met and have set this fee structure for the rest of the 2020 season and includes free entry into finals.

These fees cover the following:

· 9 Rounds of footy

· Purchase of equipment and uniforms.

· Utilities – electricity, water etc.

· MPJFL Affiliation fees for every player.

· New MPJFL finals levy for each player in
every Club in the League.

· Awards and Trophies (Presentation Day
etc).

Due to restrictions this season it is unlikely that we will be able to run any functions or fundraising – which is an important part of keep our club financial. We also rely heavily on canteen revenue which will not be as it was in previous years. At this stage, we do not know if we will be running a canteen.

In these unprecedented times the Club understands that families are facing many pressures and that paying the fees in a lump sum may be challenging.

We ask that anyone who is in this position please contact our Treasurer Danielle Willis on 0407 868 158 to discuss payment options.

For families who have already paid in full the Club will refund the difference between the fees paid and the new fee structure ($70 single player and $120 for a family). The time frame for processing these refunds is yet to be decided, but will be likely towards the end of August.

As you would be aware there are currently strict COVID19 restrictions in place for player training. We expect before season begins there will be further match day restrictions released via the MPJFL which will determine team and crowd protocols at these games. We will advise of these as they come to hand.

Some Good News – Sports Power is making a RJFC night (10% off and 10% to the club) on Wednesday the 1st July from 5:00 to 8:00 PM
